Pärlgräsfjäril - Coenonympha arcania - Pearly Heath

Normally you never see the upper part of the wing. The Pearly Heath always move the wings together when it sits on a plant. I hae been lucky twice and managed to get flying shots of it.

Today I noted something I have never seen before. It was windy and if you look carefully on the last image the butterfly has folded both wings to the side avoiding the wind by laying the wings close to the leaf.
This butterfly is damaged on the upper wing so the little dark red area is the lower wing.
